Visit the HoneyHook sign-up page and create your account using your email address or Google login. You will receive a confirmation email to verify your account before you can access the dashboard.
After signing up, you will be guided through a short onboarding flow where you select your niche, connect your first channels, and set your content preferences. Completing onboarding unlocks your full dashboard and personalized recommendations.
During onboarding or from the Channels page, paste a YouTube or social media channel URL to start tracking it. HoneyHook will immediately begin scraping recent videos and analyzing performance metrics for that channel.
Your dashboard provides an overview of your tracked channels, recent outlier videos, and AI-generated insights. Use the sidebar to navigate between channels, video analysis, script writing, and your vault.
Navigate to the Channels page and click the Add Channel button. Paste the channel URL and HoneyHook will automatically fetch channel details, subscriber count, and recent video data.
Add competitor channels to monitor their content strategy and performance. HoneyHook highlights outlier videos that are performing significantly above their channel average, so you can learn what works.
Outlier videos are those performing well above a channel's typical view count. HoneyHook calculates an outlier score based on the ratio of a video's views to the channel's median, helping you spot viral trends.
Channel data is refreshed automatically on a daily schedule. You can also manually trigger a refresh from the channel detail page to get the latest video stats and metrics on demand.
Each plan has a daily limit on how many channels can be scraped. Free plans include a limited number of daily scrapes, while paid plans offer significantly higher limits. Check your Settings page to see your current usage.
Open any tracked video and click the Transcribe button. HoneyHook uses AI to generate a full transcript, which you can then use for analysis, script remixing, or reference while creating your own content.
The viral breakdown analyzes a video's hook, structure, pacing, and engagement patterns. It gives you actionable insights into why a video performed well and how you can apply similar techniques to your own content.
Each analyzed video receives scores for hook strength, retention potential, and content quality. These scores are generated by AI and help you quickly compare videos and identify the strongest content patterns.
Select any video from a tracked competitor channel and run an analysis. HoneyHook will break down the video's structure, hook, and engagement strategy so you can adapt winning formulas for your own channel.
Use the Script Writer to create original scripts from a topic or prompt. HoneyHook's AI generates a structured script with a strong hook, engaging body, and clear call to action tailored to your style.
Found a viral video? Use the Remix feature to generate a new script inspired by its structure and hook. The AI adapts the winning formula to your niche and voice while keeping the content original.
Train HoneyHook on your personal writing style by providing sample scripts or past content. The AI will learn your tone, vocabulary, and pacing preferences to generate scripts that sound authentically like you.
All generated and remixed scripts are saved to your script library for easy access. You can organize, edit, duplicate, and export scripts from the library at any time.
Click the bookmark icon on any video to save it to your vault. The vault acts as your personal library of inspiration, keeping all your saved videos organized and easily accessible.
Organize your vault by creating custom folders for different niches, campaigns, or content themes. Drag and drop videos between folders or assign them when saving to keep your research structured.
Use folders, tags, and the search function within your vault to quickly find saved content. A well-organized vault helps you build a swipe file of proven content ideas you can reference anytime.
HoneyHook offers multiple plans to fit your needs, from a free tier with basic features to premium plans with unlimited analysis, higher scrape limits, and advanced AI tools. Visit the Pricing page for current plan details.
Go to Settings and then Billing to change your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing, while downgrades apply at the end of your current billing cycle.
You can cancel your subscription from the Billing section in Settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period, and no further charges will be made after cancellation.
Update your credit card or payment method in the Billing section of Settings. HoneyHook uses Stripe for secure payment processing, and you can add or remove payment methods at any time.
